COMMENTARY: Kelly: Can you see me? Mom: Ok Kelly you want to show your tooth? Kelly: Oh show my tooth, to the world, cause its so pretty. Why is there only one? Oh that’s really nice. You see, wow, that’s a good tooth. Ohhhh. I’m going to frame that on my wall. What do I do now? Oh I feel so drunk. I don’t even know what drunk feels like, but I, if I was drunk, I would feel like this. I would feel like this. I want to run around the parking lot right now and just woohoo, but I’m so tired I don’t think I can do that. I don’t know mom, I don’t know. I don’t know what to do. Should I eat something? In this case, it’s better to use hot water to relieve the pain. Plain hot water and sugarless hot drinks like coffee and tea can also draw out some pus if abscess is present near the wisdom tooth. Hold the hot liquid in your mouth, and then swish it around the painful area for about five seconds. Gently spit the liquid out, and then repeat the process until pain subsides. # Warm water with salt: Another way to reduce the pain is to gargle warm water with salt several times a day. Salt toughens gums, draws out infection, and reduces swelling. I work at a Dental Clinic and i needed a wisdom tooth removed. So, here is the video of a soft tissue wisdom tooth removal. All it took was some numbing anesthetic and I didn’t feel a thing. Great group of co-workers and Great Doctor!!!!
